Awesome evening…until the rain came! And even then, with 3 Doors Down onstage, it was kind of cool.
Crash Karma - Great way to kick things off. It was like getting three or four Canadian bands to open up the show with tunes from them, I Mother Earth and Tea Party all starting things mid-afternoon. Thanks for kicking things off!
Thornley - These guys can rock hard, or not (depends on the song and mood). They certainly mix the tempos and textures and sound great, tight and intense! Love “That Song”!!!
Collective Soul - Pros, in every sense! These guys can play! While Thornely was onstage Stax had a chance to chat with Dean Roland on BOB-FM. Nice interview…he said they were ready…they delivered.
3 Doors Down - I’m sure these guys felt right at home…kinda felt like a grungy Mississippi evening with the steam and then drizzle and then rain. Really too bad that weather started a few people to turn around and find the exits because these guys put on a great show.
Hope everyone had a great time, played hard and then made it safely home!
Let’s do it all over again tonight!!!
Alannah Myles - Night Ranger - Peter Frampton - Alice Cooper
